Housed in a meticulously restored Greyhound bus terminal from the 1930’s\, we are committed to providing our guests with a complete experience from a setting\, food\, wine\, cocktails and service point of view. With interior and exterior spaces that are simultaneously elegant and comfortable\, The Grey provides a venue for high energy\, eclectic and memorable times for our guests and staff alike. Since our opening\, our commitment to excellence has resulted in significant national attention and accolades from industry press such as The New York Times\, Bon Appetite\, Food & Wine\, Wine Spectator\, Wine Enthusiast\, Southern Living\, Garden & Gun\, Eater\, Zagat\, Liquor.com and many others. \n  \nOur Chef \nThe Grey is headed up by Chef Mashama Bailey who returned to her southern roots after spending a dozen years cooking in New York City. Mashama draws inspiration from her culinary experiences in New York\, her travels abroad and her childhood\, part of which was spent in Savannah\, to develop dishes that represent her interpretation of Port City Southern cuisine. \n  \nOur Staffing Philosophy \nThe Grey is committed to success by providing the restaurant’s team with the tools required to achieve that success. The Grey has not only been building a competent staff but creating a family of like-minded professionals to whom self-reliance and teamwork go hand-in-hand. This manifests itself in to a great working environment of which we are all proud\, and reassures our guests that\, in a town of great dining choices\, they have made an excellent decision by visiting The Grey. \n  \nOur Benefits \nThe Grey has a health care plan in place for all full-time employees as well as 401-K plan. Salaried employees receive paid vacation. The Grey closes for one week each summer and for three days at Christmas. \n  \nOur Ideal Candidates \nWe are seeking applicants at all levels for several positions in both the front and back of the house. This includes cooks\, porters\, dishwashers\, servers\, and bar staff.
